We are continuing our Intercollegiate LGBT Salsa Night and we hope you'll join us! Get ready to meet new people, learn some new moves, have an all-around good time, and maybe even discover a new love for Latin dance. Join us around 7 for a beverage to loosen up and we'll start the class promptly at 7:30. People will be closed to the public for our classes and then open afterwards to the general public.

The evening will include a one hour dance lesson taught by professional dancer and instructor, Ernesto Palma. After the lesson, there will be time to grab a partner and try your new moves to some great Latin tunes. The event is designed for all experience levels - so do not worry if you are just starting out. Singles and couples are welcome, no need to bring a partner - we'll make sure you get to dance with a bunch of folks. Attire is casual, and comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended. Shoes with leather soles are best but sneakers are fine as well.

About the Instructor, Ernesto Palma:
Ernesto Palma is an NYC-based professional dancer, instructor, and choreographer. Ernesto began dancing at the age of 11, and hasn't stopped since. He competes in the national competitive ballroom circuit. Ernesto won the National Latin Same Sex Ballroom Championship with his dance partner, Louis, in 2010. He and is dance partner Nikolai Shpakov are the 2014 USA Same Sex International Latin Ballroom Champions! In addition to his competitive dance career, Ernesto has danced for stars and programs such as Marc Anthony, Daniel Patric Ellis, The Today Show, The Tyra Banks Show and The Robert Verdi Show. As an instructor, Ernesto has shared his love of dance (and his moves of course!) with thousands of students of all levels of experience, inspiring people of all ages and experience levels to get out and dance.
