Our topic will be "How to start a new fund with the Development Office, or endow an existing one." I know several of you have talked to me privately about wanting to start a fund with the Development Office with your estate, or endow one of our existing funds, and don't know the process for getting this done. We've recently had an alum go through the process successfully with the Development Office, and she will discuss her experience with us. We can also discuss what we know about starting a fund NOT with an estate, for instance if you want to start a fund while you're still alive to see it happen, like we did with our Lyon's Legacy Fund, our student internship fund, and our alum fellowship fund. So bring your experiences and questions, and if we can't answer them immediately, I'll bring them up with Development and try to get the answers for you.
