Get a break from the city on this six-mile roundtrip hike in the hills rising above Pasadena. Enjoy expansive views out to downtown LA and beyond, check out the relics from the 19th century railway and grand mountaintop hotel, and make some new friends. Moderately strenuous with about 1500 feet of elevation gain. Bring two liters of water, sunscreen, trail shoes or boots, and a lunch for a picnic on the summit.
