In this new work by local playwright MJ Halberstadt, a career-launching prize is at stake, the winner's name sealed in an envelope. As a quartet of visual arts students prepares their graduate thesis exhibition, the gloves come off when one of them suggests that racial and gender identity will influence the prize commitee's selection more than the merits of each artist's work. Tiffany Nichole Greene returns to Bridge Rep to direct a young, diverse cast in this fun and fast-paced production.
GLBT Ivies & Friends members Olivia D'Ambrosio and John Tracey are involved, Olivia as producer, and John as an actor.
Dinner beforehand is a possibility, and we're working on something with the cast for after.
